Truman Lake

Last month the fam and I took our annual camping/fishing/relaxing/becoming one with nature trip. This year we traveled to Truman Lake near Warsaw, MO. I think the pictures say all there is to be said. So, in no particular order, here goes:

Hello everyone! I just wanted to let you know that I haven't fallen off of the face of the Earth. I've been doing things, but I guess not much that has been blog-worthy. Very soon there will be an updated post. Until then, here's a pic of my smiley face!

Before & Now

Over a year ago I started a weight-loss journey. It's been a struggle physically and mentally, but I am SO grateful I have been able to do what I have done. I think I have forgotten just how far I have come. I see myself everyday, so seeing a difference can be difficult at times. Going through these pictures of me has most definitely helped.

Words cannot describe how much better I feel physically, emotionally, and mentally. I'm not quite at my "goal weight" yet, but I am so much closer than I was a little over a year ago.

I'm grateful to know that I am worth it---to be happy, to be healthy and worth feeling good about myself.
